Spoon Customs Snapback

Spoon Customs Snapback

£28.50

The first snapback we did was the first thing we made after I’d actually run away to get the company started. It had Spoon Customs written on it. As such, it meant something to a little company that really was just an idea at that time. It made something abstract feel real and I wore that cap till it was knackered.

The first cap did a turn and lasted pretty well. So we worked with the same people to make this one from scratch. This is the second cap, made for where we are right now, just as we’re finding our feet, with a logo that reminds us where we started.

The summit of ‘Izoard is famous for the Casse Deserte, an arrangement of scree slopes and limestone towers, the angle of the scree being largely unique to the conditions in that place. The angle we’ve represented in the cut-aways in our new brand mark, shown here on this new snapback. After all, we named our favourite bike after that climb.

3D embroidered in the best thread, with custom tapes, and our own label. With stitching that’s nearly as tidy as a Spoon Customs TIG weld.

Thanks to David’s mate, Chris the geologist, who we texted as I typed this to check the towers on Izoard are actually limestone.

(Chris: You can stop sending us information about the geological formation of the Alps now mate, we’ve got it).
